Source: PeptideSerum-exact-size-market-comparison.xlsx. One selected single-container price per supplier domain, for the same labeled vial size and formulation. Blends match recorded component amounts. The arithmetic mean uses the first ten selected supplier prices in recorded Google discovery order, or the true smaller sample when ten could not be found. No size scaling, mg-to-IU conversion, pack discount or minimum price range is substituted.

The green percentage, when shown, compares the member price for every visitor: (recorded exact-size market average minus Peptide Serum member price) divided by the recorded market average. Unrounded values are used and the percentage is rounded down to one decimal. It is omitted when the member price is equal to or above the reference or the refreshed snapshot cannot be confirmed. Member pricing requires verified paid PRO membership.

These are dated price observations, not live available supplier offers. Shipping is excluded. Supplier tax treatment is retained as recorded and can differ. Memberships, clinical qualifications, ancillary supplies and availability can affect comparability; source notes retain these limitations. Some observations were sold out. Seller domains may be correlated through one manufacturer. This is not a revenue-ranked or complete-market survey.

Research-use context This source material is not medical advice, a treatment recommendation, or instructions for human or veterinary use.

ARA-290: neuropathy trials and evidence limitations

ARA-290 is an experimental peptide designed from erythropoietin for tissue-protective signaling without its red-blood-cell-stimulating action. Early clinical studies investigated neuropathic symptoms in specific patient groups. Their results are more informative than generic nerve-healing claims, but remain limited by size, duration and endpoint selection.

Identity and formulation

ARA-290 is not interchangeable with erythropoietin. A design intended to separate signaling effects does not make the two substances clinically equivalent.

Sarcoidosis-associated small-fiber symptoms and painful neuropathy in type 2 diabetes were studied separately. Results should not be generalized to every cause of pain or nerve damage.

What the studies show

The selected controlled studies provide preliminary human signals. They also show why naming the symptom scale matters: a positive small-fiber symptom score did not mean every pain or fatigue measure improved more than placebo.

Study and design Finding What it does not establish
Safety and efficacy of ARA 290 in sarcoidosis patients with symptoms of small fiber neuropathy: a randomized, double-blind pilot study.

Randomized double-blind exploratory trial in 22 people with sarcoidosis and small-fiber neuropathy symptoms

Reading scope: PubMed abstract and bibliographic record; not full-text review

The small-fiber neuropathy screening score improved more with ARA-290; Brief Pain Inventory and fatigue scores improved similarly in both groups. The study lasted four weeks and was small. A favorable result on one scale does not establish superiority on all pain outcomes.
ARA 290, a nonerythropoietic peptide engineered from erythropoietin, improves metabolic control and neuropathic symptoms in patients with type 2 diabetes.

Placebo-controlled phase 2 study in type 2 diabetes with painful neuropathy

Reading scope: PubMed abstract and bibliographic record; not full-text review

Investigators reported changes in neuropathic symptoms and metabolic measures; a subgroup with reduced corneal nerve density showed an increase in that measurement. The treatment and observation periods were short. A subgroup imaging result does not prove whole-body nerve regeneration or durable clinical recovery.

For the differences between a mechanism, a biomarker and a clinical outcome, see the evidence-reading guide.

How to interpret the findings

Corneal nerve imaging is a research measure, not a direct count of restored nerves throughout the body. Clinical relevance depends on whether changes correspond to durable improvements that matter to patients.

A comparison with placebo is stronger than a change from baseline alone. The two should remain visibly separate when reporting questionnaires or physical-function results.

Safety context

No concerning clinical or laboratory signal was identified in these small early studies. That is a bounded observation, not evidence that rare events, long-term effects or combination risks have been excluded.

A research product from an uncontrolled source has additional identity and quality uncertainties that these monitored trials did not evaluate.

Study exposure and units

The sarcoidosis and diabetes studies used different research administration settings. Their schedules should be described only with the condition, route, duration and monitoring attached.

A short exploratory course is not a validated personal regimen or evidence for treating other neuropathies. Avoid merging study exposures into a universal recommended dose.

Match any reported amount or concentration to the exact material, route, population and duration in the original experiment. Read the guide to mass, volume and concentration for the meaning of common units. A calculation cannot establish an appropriate treatment or validate an untested formulation.

Product identity and report checks

Match ARA-290 identity to the exact peptide and formulation used by the cited source. An erythropoietin product or another tissue-protective peptide is not equivalent.

Analytical identity and quantity cannot demonstrate nerve-regeneration efficacy. Claims about a product should not exceed the specific symptom and imaging endpoints actually measured.

Keep the clinical evidence and the supplier evidence separate. Use the report-verification steps to check the issuer and the batch questions to connect a tested sample with the product offered. Compare prices using the delivered-cost method rather than an isolated discount or purity percentage.

Peptide Serum operates a store as well as this research library. The supplier directory contains imported seller information; a listing is not laboratory certification. Read how this library is prepared and evaluate the documentation for the exact lot offered. A seller rating does not establish clinical safety or effectiveness.

Common questions

Did ARA-290 clearly outperform placebo for pain in the sarcoidosis pilot?

It improved a composite small-fiber symptom scale more than placebo, while the Brief Pain Inventory improved similarly in both groups. A general claim of proven pain relief would conceal that mixed result.

Does increased corneal nerve density mean damaged nerves are cured?

No. It is an anatomical research signal in a specific setting. Durable function and symptom benefit need separate confirmation.

ARA-290: study exposure and units

This companion to the ARA-290 research profile explains how to interpret experimental quantities. It provides no personal-use regimen.

Read exposure in its original context

The sarcoidosis and diabetes studies used different research administration settings. Their schedules should be described only with the condition, route, duration and monitoring attached.

A short exploratory course is not a validated personal regimen or evidence for treating other neuropathies. Avoid merging study exposures into a universal recommended dose.

Find the tested material, formulation, route, study population, comparison group and observation period in the original paper. Exposure in a cell system or animal model does not supply a human starting amount, schedule or route.

Mass, volume and concentration describe different things

Mass describes an amount of material; concentration describes that amount per final solution volume. One milligram equals 1,000 micrograms. Neither a vial label nor arithmetic establishes identity, stability, sterility or an appropriate use.

Read the units reference and the study summaries and their limitations. Use the original methods for the precise experimental conditions; do not transfer a reported amount between different materials or study models.

Continue with the evidence

The main profile links the selected primary sources, distinguishes the study designs and explains what the findings cannot show. A trial registration is a research plan, not a published result.
