Source: PeptideSerum-exact-size-market-comparison.xlsx. One selected single-container price per supplier domain, for the same labeled vial size and formulation. Blends match recorded component amounts. The arithmetic mean uses the first ten selected supplier prices in recorded Google discovery order, or the true smaller sample when ten could not be found. No size scaling, mg-to-IU conversion, pack discount or minimum price range is substituted.
The green percentage, when shown, compares the member price for every visitor: (recorded exact-size market average minus Peptide Serum member price) divided by the recorded market average. Unrounded values are used and the percentage is rounded down to one decimal. It is omitted when the member price is equal to or above the reference or the refreshed snapshot cannot be confirmed. Member pricing requires verified paid PRO membership.
These are dated price observations, not live available supplier offers. Shipping is excluded. Supplier tax treatment is retained as recorded and can differ. Memberships, clinical qualifications, ancillary supplies and availability can affect comparability; source notes retain these limitations. Some observations were sold out. Seller domains may be correlated through one manufacturer. This is not a revenue-ranked or complete-market survey.
Non-USD native prices are converted using ECB reference rates dated October 9, 2026. Recorded exchange-rate source. Original prices and currencies are shown below. Currency conversion does not make tax treatment or purchasing conditions identical.

PT-141 / Bremelanotide research, identity and evidence limits
Bremelanotide, also called PT-141, has an approved formulation for a defined desire disorder in premenopausal women. It is not approved as general sexual-performance enhancement.
Identity and formulation
Bremelanotide is a melanocortin-receptor agonist, distinct from Melanotan II and afamelanotide. Related names or receptor activity do not make the compounds interchangeable.
Vyleesi is the specified prescription formulation. Earlier intranasal studies and current subcutaneous-product evidence need to remain separate.
What the studies show
Two phase-III trials support improvements in desire and associated distress in their selected population. The older male erectile-dysfunction paper, PMID 18206919, has a linked 2023 expression of concern and is excluded here as positive efficacy evidence. The existence of that notice does not alter the separately assessed female RECONNECT trials.
Selected directly relevant studies and their limits
Two 24-week randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trials enrolling 1,267 premenopausal women
Reading scope: PubMed abstract
Desire scores improved and distress related to low desire declined compared with placebo; nausea, flushing and headache were more frequent.
The selected population and modest scale-score differences do not establish effects in men, postmenopausal women or every cause of reduced desire.
For the differences between a mechanism, a biomarker and a clinical outcome, see the evidence-reading guide.
How to interpret the findings
Desire, distress, erectile response and frequency of satisfying events are different outcomes. Improvement on one scale should not be rewritten as guaranteed performance.
The approved indication concerns acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women, after other explanations are considered. The current label does not indicate use in men, postmenopausal women or for performance enhancement.
A statistically significant group difference is not a promise that an individual will respond. Tolerability, patient selection and clinically meaningful change matter alongside the p-value.
Safety context
The Vyleesi label contraindicates use with uncontrolled hypertension or known cardiovascular disease. It describes transient blood-pressure increases, heart-rate reduction, nausea and focal hyperpigmentation.
Safety observations from an older nasal experiment cannot be substituted for the current product’s selection and monitoring requirements.
Study exposure and units
Distinguish investigational nasal exposure from the approved product’s route and delivery system. A nominal milligram comparison does not establish equivalent absorption.
Trial timing and eligibility criteria are part of the experiment. They should not be extracted into an unsupervised performance-enhancement protocol.
Match any reported amount or concentration to the exact material, route, population and duration in the original experiment. Read the guide to mass, volume and concentration for the meaning of common units. A calculation cannot establish an appropriate treatment or validate an untested formulation.
Product identity and report checks
Check the exact bremelanotide identity and finished formulation. A generic melanocortin-peptide certificate is not enough.
If a listing cites Vyleesi trials, it should explain whether the actual product is Vyleesi. Raw-material purity alone cannot establish autoinjector equivalence, delivered amount or clinical suitability.
Keep the clinical evidence and the supplier evidence separate. Use the report-verification steps to check the issuer and the batch questions to connect a tested sample with the product offered. Compare prices using the delivered-cost method rather than an isolated discount or purity percentage.
Peptide Serum operates a store as well as this research library. The supplier directory contains imported seller information; a listing is not laboratory certification. Read how this library is prepared and evaluate the documentation for the exact lot offered. A seller rating does not establish clinical safety or effectiveness.
Common questions
Does PT-141 approval cover men with erectile dysfunction?
No. The approved Vyleesi indication is narrower. The older male trial also has a formal expression of concern and is not used here to support efficacy.
Are desire and erectile response the same outcome?
No. They address different aspects of sexual function and should not be combined into one success rate.
Can a related melanotan product substitute for bremelanotide?
No. Chemical identity and formulation need to match the evidence.

Trial timing and eligibility criteria are part of the experiment. They should not be extracted into an unsupervised performance-enhancement protocol.
Find the tested material, formulation, route, study population, comparison group and observation period in the original paper. Exposure in a cell system or animal model does not supply a human starting amount, schedule or route.
Mass, volume and concentration describe different things
Mass describes an amount of material; concentration describes that amount per final solution volume. One milligram equals 1,000 micrograms. Neither a vial label nor arithmetic establishes identity, stability, sterility or an appropriate use.
The main profile links the selected primary sources, distinguishes the study designs and explains what the findings cannot show. A trial registration is a research plan, not a published result.
